Lacombe Municipal Ambulance is looking to hire one or more individuals for casual positions for Lacombe Municipal Ambulance Service Association Lacombe and Eckville stations (plus any additional stations/regions that may become the responsibility of LMASA in the future). The number of positions is yet to be determined and is open to EMT-A's and EMT-P’s, pending contract approval.


• Applications are to be mailed to Lacombe Municipal Ambulance Service Association at the LMASA business office: 5432-56 Ave Lacombe, AB T4L 1E9 , or faxed to 403-782-4611 or via e-mail to emsresume@lacombe.ca
• Applications shall include a resume, signed cover letter, and a copy of ACP registration
• Positions to be based on the collective agreement including section 9 – 48/96 shifting hours of work pending contract approval.
• Qualifications -
o Must be in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics
o ACLS/BCLS
o Current Alberta Class 4 drivers license – driver’s abstract will be requested for all successful candidates
o Original Criminal Records check with a vulnerable persons section included and dated within the past three months
o Recommended to have complete PARA/PET testing
o In good health
• Compensation and benefits as per current collective agreement

Lacombe EMS experiences over 2,000  responses a year, and operates fully equipped Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) response vehicles 24 hours a day.
